This Cheesecloth is a cotton cloth that is loosely woven and resembles a gauze like material. The primary use of cheesecloth is for making cheese, but it is also a great tool for straining water and capturing solids in various recipes. You might want to have cheesecloth on hand if you're making homemade almond milk, homemade ketchup, infused oils, fresh fruit drinks, and more. The fabric's loose, open woven style allows liquid drainage while holding solid substances. Traditionally, cheesecloths played a crucial role in cheesemaking, as the cloth separates the solid cheese curd from the liquid whey. Mexican queso fresco, Italian ricotta cheese, and Indian paneer are popular cheeses made using cheesecloth. The cloth measures 180cm x 90cm, providing a generous filtering surface area which can be cut or folded to size if required. A must have kitchen assessor for your home-made recipes.
