Botanical Name Simmondsia Chinensis - Originating from North America and the western coast of Mexico, Jojoba is now grown in farms across the northwestern desert of Argentina. Jojoba extract was once used by Native Americans to heal several skin and hair conditions. The oil is obtained from the seeds of jojoba shrubs, which are full of nutrients, antioxidants, and minerals. Jojoba oil may help naturally moisturise and hydrate the skin, which can be beneficial when dealing with dryness. It may also be used as a carrier oil with essential oils and is widely used in moisturisers, shampoos, lip balms, and other beauty products. It has a bright golden colour, very mild nutty scent, thick and velvety texture, and a shelf life of one year. Our base oils are studiously selected, bought more often than not from primary sources, tested for purity, and subjected to rigorous quality control standards.
